A damaged ejector may also cause problems in the straight-pull action. If it is bent to one side or the other it will cause excessive dragging of the bolt. Also, the ejector is oftentimes bent upward which will cause it to drag on the underside of the bolt. Replacement of the ejector is the recommended solution.
